FILTERNONE LLC (“FilterNone”), a Georgia limited liability company and wholly owned subsidiary of CC SOFTWARE PLATFORMS LLC (“CCSP”), operates the website at https://filternone.com and related ephemeral content services (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform in any manner, you agree to these terms without limitation or exception.
FilterNone provides an entirely anonymous, data-minimal, ephemeral venue for textual expression. No account creation is required. No persistent identifiers (IP addresses, cookies, device fingerprints, session tokens) are associated with Submissions. Each Submission is held in volatile memory and expires sixty (60) minutes after posting. No archives, backups, or logs of Submissions or user identity data are retained beyond the TTL.
FilterNone and CCSP disclaim all liability for Submissions to the fullest extent permitted by law. Submissions are neither reviewed nor curated by FilterNone. FilterNone does not endorse and is not responsible for any opinion, advice, statement, content, or other information expressed or made available by users.
Under the immunity provisions of the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. § 230(c)(1)–(2), FilterNone qualifies as an “Interactive Computer Service” and is not treated as the publisher or speaker of any user-generated content. The decisions in Zeran v. America Online, Inc., 129 F.3d 327 (4th Cir. 1997), Barrett v. Rosenthal, 146 P.3d 510 (Cal. 2006), and Fair Housing Council of San Fernando Valley v. Roommates.com, LLC, 521 F.3d 1157 (9th Cir. 2008) confirm that platforms which provide neutral tools for content creation and posting enjoy immunity from civil liability for third-party material.
FilterNone is founded upon the universal right to freedom of opinion and expression as set forth in Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. By design, the Platform fosters anonymous, ephemeral discourse that cannot be subject to retrospective censorship or permanent surveillance.
Relevant U.S. Supreme Court rulings confirm robust protection for online speech:
FilterNone’s privacy-by-design approach complies with FTC guidelines on consumer privacy and data minimization. Apart from ephemeral country-and-language inference used for soft regional tagging, no personal data or identifiers are collected, stored, or shared. Browser headers, session details, and any other metadata are discarded on receipt. All Submissions and related transient data are irretrievably purged from memory exactly sixty minutes after posting.
Each Submission receives a time-to-live (TTL) of exactly 3,600,000 milliseconds (one hour) as set on the server at creation. The client (your browser) renders the live countdown using its own local clock. In rare cases you may briefly see a value such as “1h 0m 04s” immediately after posting. This does not indicate extra retention beyond sixty minutes. It occurs because:
No data is stored past the fixed expiration; when server time reaches the scheduled expiry (creation timestamp + 3,600,000 ms), the Submission is permanently purged from our system. The exact timestamp (TTL) is final and official on our servers, and is purged in 3,600,000 ms under our user agreement. The UI countdown is purely a convenience layer and has no effect on the underlying deletion schedule. Implementing a server-provided reference timestamp or subtractive display bias could eliminate the brief visual extension, but the current approach maximizes simplicity and preserves strict ephemerality.
FilterNone respects intellectual property rights and will remove or disable access to infringing material upon receipt of a valid notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. FilterNone’s designated DMCA agent can be contacted through the address below.
FilterNone and CCSP expressly disclaim any responsibility for the republishing, aggregation, republication, or misuse of Submissions by third parties outside the TTL window. Any third-party use of content beyond sixty minutes is beyond FilterNone’s control and liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FilterNone, CCSP, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. FILTERNONE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FILTERNONE, CCSP, OR THEIR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF FILTERNONE AND CCSP EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR ACCESS TO THE PLATFORM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
These terms and your use of FilterNone are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. All disputes shall be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted in DeKalb County, Georgia. You and FilterNone waive any rights to trial by jury, class actions, or public court proceedings.
If any provision of this Legal Notice is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and FilterNone regarding its subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements, proposals, or communications, written or oral.
The Platform is not directed to children. In the United States, you must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use the Platform. If the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction is higher (for example, between 13 and 16 in some countries), you must meet that higher age to use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided content or data through the Platform, please contact admin@filternone.com and we will promptly remove such material to the extent within our control. Please reach us via our Contact form instead of email.
You agree not to use the Platform to post, transmit, or facilitate any of the following: illegal content (including CSAM), threats or incitement to violence, doxxing or targeted harassment, intellectual property infringement, malware or exploits, security testing without authorization, spam, flooding or automated posting, or attempts to deanonymize users. You also agree not to circumvent rate limits, content filters, or technical protections. FilterNone may throttle, remove, or block content or traffic in its discretion to protect the Platform and its users, consistent with 47 U.S.C. § 230(c)(2).
FilterNone is designed to minimize data collection and retain Submissions only for the TTL. However, absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed on the Internet. Third parties (including ISPs, CDN/WAF providers, client devices, screen-capture tools, scrapers, and other observers) may copy, retain, or correlate content or network data outside of FilterNone’s control. Ephemerality applies within FilterNone’s systems only; copies made by others, caches, or archives outside the Platform are beyond our control and responsibility. FilterNone will comply with valid legal process to the extent of information actually possessed, which is intentionally minimal.
You may not crawl, scrape, index, bulk-collect, mirror, or republish Submissions or the feed, whether by automated means or otherwise, without prior written permission. Any republication of Submissions outside their TTL is prohibited. FilterNone may implement technical measures to detect and block automated access and unauthorized redistribution.
DMCA Notices should be sent to our designated agent via our Contact form with the following: (1) your signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the allegedly infringing material; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of good-faith belief; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, of accuracy and authorization. Counter- notices must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Given the Platform’s anonymous and ephemeral nature, FilterNone may remove or disable access to material upon receipt of a valid notice and may block repeated sources associated with multiple valid notices over time (even in the absence of registered accounts). This constitutes FilterNone’s repeat-infringer policy for purposes of 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
FilterNone is intentionally designed not to retain identifying information about posters. We do not create user accounts, we do not set persistent cookies, and we do not maintain logs that map Submissions to IP addresses or device identifiers. Submissions exist only in volatile memory and are automatically purged sixty (60) minutes after posting. Accordingly, FilterNone generally cannot attribute a Submission to any individual.

We will respond to valid legal process to the extent of information actually in our possession, which is intentionally minimal. Requests to “unmask” a poster will ordinarily be declined because we do not possess such data. If you seek preservation under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f), you must serve a timely and properly scoped request identifying the specific permalink and exact timestamp; if received within the TTL window, we may preserve the identified Submission content and limited system timestamp until follow-on legal process is received. We cannot recover Submissions that have expired.
Network providers (e.g., CDN/WAF/ISPs) may maintain their own network logs independent of FilterNone. Those records are not under FilterNone’s control and are not used by FilterNone to attribute content. Parties seeking such records should direct lawful process to the applicable provider.
Service of legal process may be directed to legal@filternone.com or our mailing address above. We require requests to be narrowly tailored, valid in the relevant jurisdiction, and to clearly identify the content at issue (permalink URL and timestamp). Nothing in this section waives protections under 47 U.S.C. § 230 or other applicable law.
BY ACCESSING OR USING THIS PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.
